Our Club

Karate Alba Federation (KAF) is a non-profit organisation based in Inverness which promotes Karate youth development in Traditional and Sport Karate and aims to provide high standards and affordable sporting opportunities in the community.

Founded in 2008 by Dolina Ross, KAF has a record of providing an inclusive organisation for the development of children and young adults regardless of ability or social disadvantage. We encourage all our students to strive for excellence - to 'be the best that they can be'.

Dolina is a native Gaelic speaker from the Isle of Lewis, and the name 'Karate Alba' was chosen due to her Gaelic roots - Alba is Gaelic for Scotland.

Our Training

Karate Alba provides training opportunities suitable for all ages and abilities in both Traditional Shotokan and Sport (WKF) Karate.

The majority of our clubs are focused on coaching children and young adults in after-school classes, however we encourage experienced and novice adults alike to join our evening classes!
